This terrific biography reminds us of this very talented woman who had a multi-faceted career before becoming a beloved children's book author. Judy Garland's vocal coach and mentor, Frank Sinatra's vocal guru, Liza Minelli's godmother, star of radio, Broadway, and movies among many many other credits, this eccentric and wacky lady was really something!
